Born and raised in Saskatchewan, I moved to Kimberley in 1991 and opened the doors to Kimberley Dance Academy. In 2016, we expanded into Cranbrook and became Kootenay Dance Academy. Over the past 34 years, our students have traveled widely, competed in numerous competitions, and earned many awards and recognitions.

In the spring of 2025, I made the decision to step into retirement and close friends, and studio mentors Buddy and Shawna purchased the studio. I am beyond thrilled to see them take the reins and carry our legacy forward. Today, I’m enjoying semi-retirement while remaining part of the Kootenay DanceXtreme family as office manager.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the communities of Kimberley and Cranbrook for 34 incredible years of support, love, and encouragement. I can’t wait to see where this next era will take us and our dancers.
